STRETCHER LEVELING: using Right Hand Jaw Only. The Flattening, Straightening or
     Leveling of material by stretching. Die Table not normally used during this forming mode.
STRETCHER LEVELING: Using both Right Hand and Left Hand Jaws --- Forming gradual
     Contoured Parts where die table movement is not required and the material is light enough to
     be bent and inserted in the jaws.
 DRAPE FORMING: Drape Forming refers to forming of parts utilizing only the die table    
     stroke of the press. To Drape Form parts, the sheets are either sufficiently flexible to allow
     operator to bend the sheets over and around the form die to load the  parts into the jaws or
     the part may be preformed.  In this forming mode the jaws and tension cylinders are normally
     pre-positioned and locked for duration of cycle.
 WRAP FORMING: Also called Stretch-Wrap Forming.  The forming of a part by first
     stretching the material and then causing the material to be wrapped around the die by
     combination of forcing the die into the material and manipulating the carriages to wrap
     parts under and around die.


 

This press is designed to produce formed sheet metal parts typically produced on drop hammer.
